Allergy season is upon us and shortly the camp season will begin !!

Silver lining 🌿 ALLERGY SEASON IS IN FULL SWING AND WE HAVE THE SNEEZES TO PROVE IT!! The trees are doing the absolute most right now. The pollen is EVERYWHERE. The tissues are running low. But you know what else arrives right after the pollen? CAMP. Consider it nature's way of saying hang in there.

Camp is Days away!! We are talking DAYS. The excitement is at an all-time high, the to-do list is at an all-time longer, and the coffee consumption around here has entered dangerous territory. But here's what's cooking — and there is A LOT cooking. (Yes dean still drinks 10 double espressos a day despite doctors claims it seems to keep him healthy! 🐓 THE PETTING ZOO IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING AND WE NEED YOUR INPUT

Big news. HUGE. We are kicking off barn renovations in the next few days to make way for our brand new petting zoo— and yes, we are just as excited as you are. Possibly more.

Already confirmed guests include chickens, goats, and ducks — a classic lineup, a dream team, and honestly the most wholesome group of individuals we have ever had the pleasure of hosting at this camp. But we want MORE. We want YOUR suggestions. Miniature horse? Pot-bellied pig? A very confident rabbit who thinks he runs the place? A llama with an attitude problem?

Drop your recommendations in the comments. We cannot promise we'll say yes, but we also cannot promise we'll say no. The barn is being renovated. Anything is possible. 🐐🦆

🎪 WE HIT THE FESTIVAL AND IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE BLAST — THANK YOU KERNERSVILLE!

This past weekend we set up our booth at the Kernersville 155th anniversary Festival!— and wow, what a reception! The people of Kernersville showed UP and we are genuinely so grateful. 🙌

We gave away fliers, branded water bottles, and even a few camp shirts — and let's just say they did not last long. Nothing says "this camp is the real deal" like people sprinting across a festival lawn for a free water bottle. We see you, and we respect the hustle. 😂

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, grabbed some goodies, and took the time to chat with us. If you picked up a flier and you're reading this right now — welcome to the family. You're one of us now. There is no going back.

We've been seeing a lot of chatter online about daycares, nannies, and babysitters as summer alternatives — and we need to address this with the respect it deserves.

Sending your child to a daycare that rotates through the same five activities on a loop all summer long versus sending them to a premier summer camp experience... is like comparing a Ferrari to a Ford. One gets you there. The other makes you feel like you're LIVING.

Summer camps have existed for over a century for a reason. The combination of activities, friendships, nature, and genuine adventure creates the perfect storm for learning, growth, and memories that last a lifetime. Your child won't just be watched — they'll be transformed.

The babysitter can wait. Camp cannot. 🏕️✨

🛏️ VERY IMPORTANT PSA — PLEASE READ BEFORE YOU PACK

Alright friends, gather round, because we are only going to say this once.

(We are absolutely going to say this more than once.)

If your child is already signed up — please make sure you have purchased bedding and the required xirho pants before arrival. In years past, we have generously lent out spare sheets, sleeping bags, and pillows to unprepared campers. We did this with love. We did this with kindness.

We are now completely, totally, and utterly OUT OF STOCK. Every last pillow. Gone. Every sleeping bag. Vanished. The free bedding era is officially over.

So here's the deal: bring your bedding — or don't, but if you don't, our next call to you will be asking for a credit card number. 💳😂

Pack the sheets. Pack the xirho pants. You've been warned — lovingly, but firmly.
