Hello all! Long time no see!
Summer 2026 is officially in the books. The cabins are quiet, the lake is wondering where everybody went, and our staff have finally caught up on sleep (mostly). Which means one thing: the blog is back!
Now Hiring: Summer Camp Jobs in North Carolina for 2027
We're already building next summer's team, and we need you. Open positions at The Vineyard Camp include:

Here's the wild part: we've had more applications in the past few weeks than during the entire 2026 season. Spots are going to fill fast, so don't wait.
Sign up soon! Or don't, and it'll be okay. We'll be fine. Somebody still has to do the trash runs, though. Just saying. That somebody could be you. 🗑️
Pup Update: The Wolf-Dog Is Not Small Anymore
Remember our little wolf-dog? Yeah, "little" no longer applies. She's 6 months old and 45 pounds of lean, elegant, GRACE-ful puppy. She's still got some training ahead of her (dont we all), but she's getting much more comfortable with folks. Come say hi. Bring snacks. For her, not you.
Volunteer at Camp This Fall: Free Room and Board!
The leaves are falling, and they are not going to rake themselves. (We checked.) We need volunteers for raking, weedeating, and general fall cleanup, on weekends or during the week.
Come up to the mountains, get some fresh air, and help us get camp ready for winter. We'll give you a place to stay and food to eat. Honestly, that's a better deal than most mountain getaways.

Halloween, Thanksgiving, the start of our international travels, then Christmas and New Year's. It's a busy stretch! But never too busy to register for summer camp 2027. (Discounts will be extended to absolutely no one this year. You're welcome for the honesty.)

Vineyard Camp Goes International: France, Mexico, Colombia & Bolivia

Mexico 🇲🇽 – On the list!
Colombia 🇨🇴 – Interest from Colombian schools has been massive. This one may turn into a two-week trip!
Bolivia 🇧🇴 – We'd love to come back if we're invited! Has anybody heard from Charito? TELL HER TO CALL US! 📞
